Tom Winslow announces his run for South Carolina State House Seat 103

GEORGETOWN, SC – Georgetown Attorney Tom Winslow has announced that he has filed to run for State House Seat 103.  Mr. Winslow is the only conservative to file for State House District 103.
“Upon reviewing the legislative record of Rep. Anderson, it became apparent that someone needed to step up and represent the needs and values of the people in 103.  Since 2005, Rep. Anderson has only been a primary sponsor on five bills within the House of Representatives.  Not one of these five bills has pushed, asked, or requested that a road be built or the port be dredged.  This is not going to get it done.”
Tom Winslow has developed a plan that mirrors the needs outlined by the Georgetown, Williamsburg, and Horry Economic Development Alliances.  This plan includes the Georgetown Port Dredging, Widening of SC HWY 521, the completion of SC 31, and the creation of I-73.
“The government has two primary responsibilities and those are infrastructure and defense.  At this point the government has failed us in our need for infrastructure.  Once we have the roads built and the port dredged, we will get business.  With that business comes jobs, education, and success.  The roads are our keys to success.”
Tom is married to Lauren Winslow, Administrator at Prince George Episcopal Church.  He has served as a board member with the YMCA, Service over Self, and the Georgetown Patriots Club.  He has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Georgetown Library, The Wooden Boat Show, St. Francis Animal Center, and the Prince George Youth Group.  Tom is a graduate of the Georgetown Leadership Academy and helped led an expedition to renovate the Georgetown Lighthouse property.  Tom Winslow currently works with the Graham Law Firm focusing on Birth Injury Litigation and other serious personal injury.  He is proud of the work he does to protect the Seventh Amendment Rights of the American people and wants to defend the Bill of Rights for the people of District 103.
