Ladies and Gentlemen,
I implore you to get out and vote tomorrow and sign every petition you
see tomorrow for the sake of Democracy. The battle of ideology can be
fought in the fall, however the fight for Democracy is now. Do not let
your right to choose who you are going to vote for be impacted by those
that hold power. Take the time tomorrow to sign the petitions to put
all people that want to run back on the ballot, so that you can choose
who you want to represent you.

Right To Vote
These next few weeks are important weeks to many of the candidates as July 16th is our deadline to turn in the petitions needed to be on the November ballot. If you see a petition sign it. This is a question of Democracy; as citizens we have a right to run for office and as voters you have the right to choose who you want representing you. When those rights are removed by those in power we no longer have our freedom.
Please support us at the Harborwalk this Saturday in Georgetown and also at the polls next Tuesday. If you want to sign a peitition let me know, if you want to get a petition for people to sign let me know, and if you want to volunteer at an event let me know.
Thank you for your support and I look forward to hearing from you.

Voting Day
Tomorrow is voting day and I encourage you to get out and vote. As you may know, I along with about ten other candidates were knocked of the ballot due to the recent S.C. Supreme Court ruling. We will have petitions out for you to sign and I encourage you to take the time to sign those petitions. You the voter should vote for who you want to represent you and not be limited by an error in the laws our current politicians created.
I also invite you to come out this Friday to 111 Broad Street, from 7pm until 9pm, to enjoy our petition party. It will be a great time - spread the word. Bring anyone who would like to come.
Sign those petitions and Win With Winslow!

We The People....
...are having a party!!!! June 12, 2012 is the primary for South Carolina. Get out and vote for those people you think will uphold the constitution and make this country stand for the ideals our founding fathers penned in the Bill of Rights. Once you vote it is not time to rest; that is when we learn who we have to support through November. We have to work hard for them and support them. The Bill of Rights was drafted to protect us from tyranny and oppression in the forms of groups that did not have the best of interest for the people at heart. Many people disagree on how to achieve this purpose, however we all agree that progress must be made if we as a nation will provide to our children what is owed to them. Those that place their self-interest ahead of their nation can be as dangerous as those enemies who overtly attack America.
We must work together to vote against those who try to oppress the American Dream. The ten amendments are the founding fathers commandments to liberate this nation from oppression. From the freedom of speech and the right to bear arms, to the right of a jury trial and state deference were meant to free the people from the bondage of government. Each amendment must be protected as are the Ten Commandments. God’s Ten Commandments have not changed in 2,000 years and our Founding Father’s Ten Amendments are still the same after 300 years. Who you elect must be willing to represent you in defending God and our founding Fathers.
We are celebrating for those people that stand up to protect our rights should be applauded. They are true representatives, win or lose, of the ideals of this nation. Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, never won an election until the presidency, but he was forever a representative of the people. Martin Luther King, Jr., the civil rights advocate, was a Republican and forever a representative of the people. Finally, four of the first six presidents were Republican-Democrats, there were no separate parties – they were representatives of the people.
Come out to celebrate our representatives and help me kick off my Win With Winslow campaign to be your representative. Our campaign kick off party is on June 15, 2012, 7pm, at 111 Broad Street. I would love to have you all there! It will be a great time and I'll be answering any questions y'all may have. Hope to see you!

NANNY STATE
What happened to personal responsibility? Have we as a people reached a point where we cannot think for ourselves and need the government to think for us? I think not.
Recently, the Mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg put forward a proposal to limit the serving of soft drinks to no more than 16oz. That is right, the government of NYC has nothing better to do than tell you how much soda you are allowed to have. This is not the first restriction the mayor has put forward; he has banned smoking in many public places, outlawed trans fats in the city's restaurants and required chain restaurants to post calorie counts. Bloomberg has a history of enacting legislation to restrict personal and business rights. Many Americans do overindulge, however is it the role of government to control how much we eat and drink?
The good news is that this ban on sugary drinks requires approval from the city's Board of Health. Maybe they will let the people think for themselves -- unlikely because Bloomberg appointed all the board's members, himself. Thank you nanny state for having to take care of me.
These restrictions on personal choice are nothing more than control exerted by the government. The most famous example is Prohibition, which barred the manufacture and sale of alcohol from 1919 to 1933. The government says this is different as it is based on behavioral economics rather than religious moralism. That appears self-evident, when was the last time the government did something based on morals.
The ideals of big government, government’s control of personal choice, and the people’s reliance on the government stem from the very system America fought against to gain our independence. These ideals stem from Monarchies, Dictatorships, and Communism. Now they are being adopted by the governmental leadership to control the people through social programs. When does it stop?
It stops when the American people vote for true representatives who are willing to make some people unhappy. The founding fathers said “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” it did not say “food stamps, subsidized housing, and free money without taxes.” What America did your fathers work for?
